anyone had this problem.. both my S2s with grips show this...

I have noticed that with the grip attached the top cover LED is now defaulting to ‘medium’ even after setting this to ‘high’ which is most annoying in bright daylight.
the only way for me is to set it to ‘high’ when first switching on and just letting the S2 go to standby....if I switch it off then it defaults to ‘medium’ again.
can you help please ?? is there a solution via Wi-Fi firmware ??? I am using the latest 1020 firmware and have reinstalled it twice now with no resolution

I wonder if anyone has suffered the terrible faults found on both my S2 Bodies..

I will list the occurrences.



1 cracked Sensor filter

2 Battery stuck in Body

3 OLED display blank

4 Blackout material flaking onto Prism

5 Battery stuck in Multigrip

6 Multigrip not fitting to Body needing replacing.

7 S180 Lens front I/D Ring falling off

8 Multigrip non functioning control buttons.



I have sent one back twice and the other three times and still awaiting the return of one.

This is clearly the fault of the so called Quality Control and I am fast loosing confidence with them.

Has anyone else encountered any problems ??
