Really having fun with the Leica R film system and lenses. Best part is that the R lenses fit on the SL2 also, so I get the best of film and digital! View
Christmasville is a great celebration in Old Town, Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA. This image shows how well the Summicron-M 35mm f/2.0 Version IV handles bokeh. I keep reading about how poorly the lens operates at f/2.0, but I think it is how you use the lens. Centered subjects with simple backgrounds make this lens shine. Architecture and wide detailed shots don't work as well because of the curvature and very bright point light sources tend to have classical aberrations. This lens is a great portrait and soft tone classical lens.
