I wondered what they meant by mini-‘M’ – the people who talked about it on the forums. Now I don’t wonder. I got the X Vario today, and what a handful! Amazing, amazing quality. I was hoping for (at best) a X1 with small zoom lens, even though the photos showed a rather large-ish lens barrel. In person, it feels like one of the much more expensive cameras. BTW, I’m not connected to anyone in this business – just an ordinary user who appreciates value.
