I had not heard of the X-E camera, thanks, good to know they're continuing a fixed-focal lens model.
I like your clean interiors, well-lit, nice tonality. And the sunset of course has a great sky. The bridge photo seems to need something more, and the greens don't look, well, “green” enough! Maybe some magenta in there dulling the color?
Welcome to Leica S desire! The 70mm is an obvious place to start, and a versatile choice, relatively economical too. I had the advantage of a large Pentax 67 system so I could use those lenses while I considered what other S lenses I might want to get. I ended up with the 35mm Summarit and later the 100 Summicron. I like the pond with the invisible alligator! He would have a duck dinner, I guess…
In the shot just above, is that an aircraft carrier moored up there close to shore? I'm surprised the water is deep enough!

M8, 50 Planar,…[Read more]
Ha! Well well, is this prophetic? I had to check LR5.5 myself and indeed it's listed. This may get interesting.
I've been using a 100mm f/4 Pentax and like this angle of view. But I expect an f/2 lens would be just a bit larger…
Great to hear the S2 is in high favor and helping you be creative! I'm fond of mine as well, and the new grip is helping keep a steady hold in the cold. I have a project going, but slowly until it warms up some.
