For an upcoming photography project, I wanted a shelter that looked as good as it functioned. Most modern gear looks like bright plastic, which doesn’t always fit the aesthetic I’m going for. I found a portable inflatable family tent that has a really clean, architectural look. The Coody Dome Black is particularly striking on camera and offers 183 square feet of space. It’s a canvas build that feels very premium and takes about 10 minutes to inflate. The blackout effect inside is also quite useful if you need to check images on a monitor during the day. It’s a nice blend of modern air technology and a more classic, high-end design.
