Today, Leica Camera has announced a limited edition Leica M-P (Typ 240) Set to commemorate the Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation. The Leica M-P (Typ 240) “CANADA EDITION” Set includes a custom engraved silver M-P (Typ 240) with red leather, a matching engraved 35mm f/2 Summicron-M ASPH and a Leica Red Rope Strap by COOPH.
The set will retail for $10,500, which is actually a mere $15 over buying the non-special-edition versions of these products. This is perhaps one of the smallest premiums we've seen for a special edition.
