Here was a spontaneous take – in the excitement of a good catch, I’m lucky to get five seconds of a pose for composing these shots. For some reason the camera didn’t focus on anything in particular, yet I had full winter sunlight, so the fish or the fisherman should have been in focus. I’ve mostly been using the highlight/shadow (-2 / +2) feature in daylight now, and that seems to help, especially in sunlight.
