    For a true challenge, I decided to try focus stacking on free flying butterflies conveniently provided at the local botanical garden. I went relatively early in the morning when they were not quite as active. Used the 120 lens and the camera mounted on a tripod.
    The attached images are downsized jpegs which is unfortunate, but of course the original files are immense. NO sharpening has been applied. Some tonal contrast has been applied via NIK filters.

    Anyway, the frame rate and buffer speed did pose issues, but overall, I am pleasantly surprised.
