I just upgraded my SL2 firmware to 3.0 and all went well. I tried out the follow focus feature and realized that this option only appears in the focus menu if the camera is in Video mode AND the lens is in AF mode! Duh! So it doesn't show as an option in the focus menu if you are in photo mode. Makes perfect sense! Fist test video's of follow focus worked well for me. Thank you Leica for a great firmware update!
