I bought my first Leica exactly 40 years ago and just bought a Leica Q2. I enjoy it and it's a fantastic camera. But. but I encounter an issue with an unexpected topic with Leica.
The paint finish is wearing out! it shows a high gloss area versus the original matte satin finish and it continues to increase. Washington store is pretty embarrassing to see that and they cannot obtain an answer from Germany. I am pretty meticulous with my material and my old R is looking better after 40 years. I will be very please if you encounter this issue or if you have any idea. I know it's a detail, but details make Leica. Thank you!
