How do realtors edit their photos?

My area is full of wildly unrealistic photo edits. They all involve photoshopping an amber glow into every window and replacing the sky with a dramatic sunset sky. They were all clearly taken during the day and heavily edited. Not only are they aesthetically unsightly, they also do not accurately represent the exterior of the home (evening light is a real, physical feature of the home, and it is unethical to distort it).
How did this all start? Is there an app that every realtor uses to avoid hiring a real, trained photographer?
