I’ve been thinking about how much detail small elements add to a project. Do things like custom 3D props really make a noticeable difference, or is it something players don’t usually pay attention to?!!

From my experience, they actually make a bigger difference than you’d expect. I used to think props were just background details, but once you start working on a project, you realize how much they shape the overall feel. At one point I decided to try working with a game art outsourcing studio that focuses on 3D modeling, just to see how professionals handle it. What stood out is that it’s not just about getting assets it’s a full process with several stages, from discussing ideas to drafts, revisions, and final polish. I came across a team while looking into 3D props work and decided to test it out. They position themselves as a game art studio, and their focus on modeling was exactly what I needed. The result turned out really solid. The assets fit perfectly into my project, and the quality made everything feel more complete.
