Curious everyone’s thoughts on this, I’m a Leica M6 film shooter. My digital camera currently is a Fuji X100t. I’m ready to take the plunge into digital Leicas but deciding on which makes things sort of complicated.
The M9 is fairly plentiful online for a good price. However not always available is the replaced sensor.
I have a friend willing to sell me a basically brand new M262 he bought and never opened for around $3700 which I think is a really good deal.
As a film shooter the thing that is haunting me is everyone keeps saying the CCD sensor is “magical” etc. my question is am I missing anything by going the M262? Or gaining a lot like I think I am?
