I’m glad to see you picked up the 180mm. It seems to be working well for you. The 180mm is an exceptional lens.

Leica M, Leica S, Leica QOfflineGood choice to wander Pike Place Market… one never knows what interesting things may be seen. 🙂 I particularly like your first (cropped) shot of the stringed-instrument player, a very nice contextual portrait, IMO.

Doug,
Pike Place Market is my backyard so to speak, I enjoy going there mainly to do my grocery shopping and doing some people work. I am working on a project shooting the flowers in the market through the seasons. If you are planning a trip to Seattle drop me a line and we can get together.

Leica M, Leica S, Leica QOfflineThanks, Al! The Public Market used to be a favorite photo destination for me in the late 60’s when I lived on Capitol Hill and shopped cameras at Olympic Camera on 4th. And even after I moved to more distant parts of Seattle. It has changed a lot over the years. For that matter the whole waterfront area was a gold mine of photo opportunities. Trekking around there I’d often carry both an M2 with 35/2 plus a Spotmatic with 85mm.
