Viet-Nam is now, amongst one of the most visited countries.
If you have such opportunity, apart from its very photogenic cities, I suggest one day you go a little further north, between Hanoi and Bac Ha, preferably at the end of September / early October as this is harvest time.
Early in the morning, here and there, terraced rice fields which were hidden in the shadow of the mountains, suddenly spring out under the very first beams of the rising sun, or under a glorious sky, brilliant yellow rice fields embrace a thatched cottage. These unusual beautiful sights force you to slow down or take a break for a few hours!
Leave the world behind you! Turn off the main road and follow an unmade path, or cross a little wooden bridge, approach the people, observe their way of life and their way of working, then adoration and appreciation may have place in you !
