Why should people create fake news?

Have you seen fake news about Scott J Cooper?! A picture of him with an ice went around the state in just a couple of days. I think someone tryed to dishonor him. And the complete thing is, that he completely denies his guilt. But it is very difficult to argue with people when your bad photo walks on the Internet.

I think people create fake news just for publicity. Making fake news also causes consumers to have doubts about reliable, expert media organizations with qualified journalists working for them. Fake news is very dangerous. or we can say that there is no reason to create fake news.
