Would Leica m-a black chrome will show brass over time like mp?

Hello,

I just got a Leica m-a, and want to know if it will show brassing over time. If it is black chrome like M7, I know it would not show brass, but I just read a review that M-A is made out of brass and matte black paint over(?)

Is this true?
