Leica M2 lens release button guard?

I snug a tiny O ring under the lever pin.
No accidental unlocking of the lans anymore.

Do you ever accidentally hit the lens release on your M2? Absolutely! I once swapped lenses on a dusty street and thought I’d secured it, only to find my precious Summicron almost kissing the pavement a few blocks later. Now I’m terrified! Does anyone have experience with lens release button guards? I’m thinking of getting one. It’s almost as stressful as building the perfect sundae in Papa’s Freezeria.
