Is this common occurrence for the 240 to underexpose the shots? My point and shoot camera gets the correct exposure every time while the expensive Leica is consistently underexposed.

I think its time to let my 240 go. It is beautiful and works great. Beautiful patina! Comes with thumb rest, battery, original box, original strap and charger, Has body cap as well. Patch is clean

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but my images are underexposed by at least two stops. I am using the classic exposer setting for the light meter.

Early morning outing. CL on tripod. Used shutter release button. There was no visible shake in the photo.

You already have a digital SL2. So digital is not new to you. You are right that you may not use the M6 as much if you had a digital M. If for no other reason than speed of processing the photos. The current version of the fotos app is a significant improvement over the original. The CL does not have any external ports. So I have to rely on it. It does get the job done. Hi Chris,
Have you tried using the Leica FOTOS app? You can remotely control the camera and use it as a release.
It's worked alright with me for some night photography with the Q.

When I turn the left knob, it goes to 30s. If I keep turning it, a T appears. Is this a manual time setting for exposures greater than 30sec. If it is, I am assuming I would need a hand held light meter to use it. The reason I am interested in it is I want to use a ND filter for long exposures.
