I didn't necessarily intend to shoot this flower at f3.2, but the wind was blowing a lot and I needed a very high shutter speed, so there it is….
Leica X-U, f3.2, 1/2000 handheld, ISO 200.

Today's photos (shot as JPEGs) with the Leica X-U: Stairway of parking deck in B&W. Sunset on average white balance (haven't worked out color temp yet, and there are no ‘scenes'). Wetland with grayish sky.
My impression of the X-U is that it does extremely well as a regular camera, ignoring (for now) the underwater feature.
Leica X-U, f5.6,…[Read more]

My first image with the Leica X-U (X-underwater) camera. Shot as JPEG only on dry land – a spontaneous take in a local public park deli. I think the X-U does well at ISO 800. I should have some underwater pics in a couple of weeks. BTW, this camera has no jack for a USB connection.
Leica X-U, f1.8, 1/250 handheld, ISO 800.

Mr. Farkas, I read that the Leica TL 35/1.4 is soon coming out for sale?
In your perfect SL review you took some samples with this lens.
Are you going to do a review about this lens on the Leica T and SL?Thanks Gerjan

Great work, Albert! Unmistakably Leica S quality, you’ve got some gems in this series.
Many thanks!
Albert
I love your work.
Nice to see a fine photographer with a fine camera.
The two lenses, 24 and 30-90 are about all you need for a trip.
The 120 would be the third for me.
Great Works!
Absolutely stunning and extremely inspirational! Thank you for sharing your efforts.
Thank you for your comments…
I would suggest that you rent, beg or steal a 24mm.. You will not be disappointed. It is their best lens!
Albert
the answer is basically unlimited. I have enlarged to 6 feet wide without loss of resolution…
