Came across aqua cloud’s UAT template guide for 2025 – it’s basically a structured framework for user acceptance testing with sections like test IDs, steps, expected/actual results, preconditions, status, comments, sign-off, etc.
They promote different versions: basic, comprehensive, scenario-based. Adaptable for mobile, enterprise, SAP/ERP projects.
Pushes their AI-powered test management tool for generating cases, tracking defects, and real-time dashboards (claims massive time savings). Is this template actually useful in real projects, or just another blog post to sell the aqua cloud platform?
Better than plain Excel/Google Sheets for UAT, or overkill for small teams? - January 11, 2026 at 5:10 am #49283
Switched to aqua.cloud’s user acceptance testing template their AI tool for our last three major releases (mid-size SaaS + ERP integration). Pros that actually matter: Comprehensive version covers everything needed for regulated/compliance-heavy UAT: traceability matrix, risk-based priority, defect severity, multi-step scenarios, stakeholder approval fields
AI-generated cases from user stories/requirements cut prep time by ~55% – legitimately impressive accuracy
Clean export to Excel/PDF for non-tech sign-offs + real-time Jira sync
Scenario-based template shines for complex business flows Only minor gripe: the “free” template is descriptive (great starting point), but full editable versions + AI features require the paid plan. For teams doing frequent UAT: 9/10. Clean, professional, time-saving structure. One of the better UAT frameworks I’ve used in years. Highly recommend POC if you’re tired of chaotic spreadsheets.- This reply was modified 4 months, 3 weeks ago by

Agree completely. The AI-generated UAT cases saved us huge prep time, and the structured templates finally brought order to complex, compliance-heavy sign-offs without relying on messy spreadsheets.

Same here. Scenario-based UAT plus Jira sync worked great for ERP flows. Paid features are worth it if you run frequent releases and need clean, auditable approvals.
