A while back, I got a used Delonghi coffee machine. Even though it’s in good shape and has all the parts, it didn’t come with the original box or manual, just the warranty card. I know how to use it, but I’d like to see what other features and cool stuff it has. Does DeLonghi have a general instruction manual for all of their espresso machines? Is it necessary to know the specific model of the machine?

Hi there, I think you need to know the exact model name. Have you checked the bottom of the machine? There is usually a sticker with the necessary model and serial number. If not, it will complicate matters a bit. I recommend looking for the manual here https://manualmachine.com/delonghi/ . All Delonghi appliance instructions are collected there.
First, check if you know the model name. If not, you can determine the coffee maker series by its external features. For example, if it has a built-in coffee grinder, then it is most likely from the La Specialista series. If it has a square design, it is probably from the Stilosa series, etc.

Also, if you can’t find the model number or it’s faded, sometimes a quick search with a photo of your machine on the Delonghi site or even on forums can help you identify it. Once you know the model, the manual will show all the extra features—like milk frothing settings, programmable shots, and cleaning cycles—that aren’t obvious just by using it. Even if you’re familiar with espresso machines in general, the model-specific manual is really the safest way to make sure you’re getting the full functionality without accidentally damaging anything.
