Exactly, there seems to be a trend towards larger sensors in video/digital cinema:

Oh thank you for the thread. I had the same issue with my S2. I am so worried and about to send the camera to Solm. Somehow, I think that they will send it back and said there is nothing wrong about my S2. I've tried to figure it out and I feel that it might be SD/CF card problems because the problem never occurred when I used the cable shooting…[Read more]

Yes, it's sold, but I wish now I hadn't sold it. It had the perfect feel and the best zoom lens (for quality and for zooming) that I've ever used. I have the Monochrom and the C-112 and the DLux6 now, and also a Panasonic GM1, but I mostly carry the GM1 and I would like to have a X Vario again. Maybe…[Read more]

OK, I realize this is not from the roof, it is from behind the bench and the temp is a cool 22 degrees, but fortunately little wind down on the field.
The bench is heated, and the capes they wear on the bench are very warm.
Frankly, I over dressed for this assignment. I was too warm at times, as moving around keeps you pretty warm.

Perhaps CMOS would be a wise decision for Leica because on the MF forums there seems to be a high demand for better high ISO and live-view, so this could bring in new customers for the S. If Leica manages to keep the price of entry…

Hi David,
We have tried that too. But unfortunately, using the EVF equals to using LV and there is time delay between pressing the shutter and the shutter react. Not practical for fashion or baby photography!
