Yes, I was in a similar position having bought a used M9 from a private party. He had registered it on the Leica Owners Area, and for unknown reasons was reluctant to de-register it, an easy procedure.

I've experimented and found that if I fit the Grip, I can hand hold for 2 stops longer in the portrait mode.
I'm comfortable shooting below 1/100s, even 1/40s with some losses, whereas without the grip I try and stay shorter than 1/249s. Must be down to camera movement and of course this may only apply to me, but I've tested this enough to…[Read more]

The Barack's Cine 5×7 camera had been bought by a c lector in Florida who later sold his entire collection, including the 5×7 camera to two other collectors, one from Rochester, NY and the other from Ohio. The items were divided by the two collectors with the one from Ohio keeping the 5×7 camera.
