Photokina is going to be interesting.. 😉
Although I would be more excited by a summicron portrait lens..

And no loss of light, like you would with an extension tube.

Hi Marc,
I have the Elpro and it performs fantastic. No noticeable loss of image quality!

Thank you!
Looks like adding the Elpro doesn't take anything away from the S180, and allows closer work than possible without it.

David Farkas replied to the topic Hasselblad CFi 150mm f4 – can this be used on a Leica S in the forum Alternative Lenses 12 years, 6 months ago
The 150mm CFi should be a fine lens for portraiture on the S. And, yes, your best bet is to use the S Adapter V.

The medium format world has been given an injection of vitality in the last few days with the announcement from Hasselblad (and allegedly phase one too) that CMOS camera's are about to be released..
Lets see how Leica responds to this..

Excuse my earlier post, I did some further research and the right adaptor seems to be the Leica S Adaptor V.
Does anyone have any experience of using this adaptor with the Hasselblad 150mm Cfi lens. Am interested in seeing how this would fare for portraits on the S.
Thanks, glen -

It's been a workhorse for me these last 9 months. Paid for itself many times over. Exceptional performing zoom, easily the best I've ever worked with. Paired with a 24, it covers just about everything for me.

Thank you Josh, the zoom arrived.
David convinced me that this would be a good addition for times when one is in conditions where changing lenses is a challenge. I shoot in snow and rain and dust a fair amount and changing lenses can be a challenge. My work around is to shoot a scene with all shots with the 120 and then go back again with the…[Read more]

I'm considering this option. Maybe the SF24D would indeed make a nice lightweight fill flash on my S2. I wonder if this would work with higher shutter speeds and CS lenses?
Josh, did you try this set-up yet?
