Is there a proven method to bridge the communication gap between external suppliers and internal stakeholders? Our current process is failing because contract updates get buried in personal inboxes, and I realized that we need a transparent way to track the status of every negotiation in real-time.

I’ve been thinking about how much a dedicated digital tool could improve our audit readiness and general transparency. When companies implement procurement contract management software, do they usually see a significant improvement in their ability to manage post-signature obligations and vendor performance? I’m curious if these platforms allow for custom permission levels, so that department heads can only see the specific supplier contracts relevant to their own budgets while the legal team maintains oversight of the whole library.

How is the process of signing all contracts with suppliers going now? Of course, now everyone has gone online and we sign all contracts with suppliers right on the platform. We looked at quite a few procurement contract management systems and decided to choose Zefort, because they have a function with different access levels that can be configured independently for each employee. Therefore, you can collect signatures from both internal and external parties and it will all be stored in one place, and not chaotically in an unclear place.

People, I need some practical advice. When manually entering invoices into the accounting system, accountants have to manually select different VAT rates (20%, 10%, or no tax). This is a purely mechanical process, but due to fatigue, errors occur, which later create problems when filing tax returns. Are there modern AP platforms whose algorithms automatically determine the tax rate and amount from the PDF invoice text and correctly enter this data into the system without human intervention?

Manually extracting tax rates from document scans is a tedious task that increases the risk of compliance errors. A solution is to use artificial intelligence for document recognition, as available on precoro. See here to learn how the built-in AI OCR module automatically scans invoice text, accurately extracts amounts, taxes, and VAT rates, and automatically populates the required fields in the draft document.
