Hi Chris,
Have you tried using the Leica FOTOS app? You can remotely control the camera and use it as a release.
It's worked alright with me for some night photography with the Q.

Hi everyone,
I've been shooting film with my Leica M6 for about 2 years now. I'm dealing with a little internal battle, part of me wants to get into the Digital M cameras. But, there's a part of me wondering if I go into digital Ms, I won't go back to my M6 or my experience shooting my M6 will completely change.

When I turn the left knob, it goes to 30s. If I keep turning it, a T appears. Is this a manual time setting for exposures greater than 30sec. If it is, I am assuming I would need a hand held light meter to use it. The reason I am interested in it is I want to use a ND filter for long exposures.

I was hoping that if someone can save me from pulling my eyes out. I recently picked up 2 used SL cameras and I have to say, man oh man the image quality as everyone knows is amazing.

So far it looks like no new firmware upadate had been released, i am still hoping that with the SL2 update (announced/ mentioned for summer 2021), that the might update the SL (601) as well?

I have firmware 2.0.6.0 on my M 240 if this is the same firmware you're ok. You could try calling Josh at Leica store Miami he will help you out or any one of the people over there.

My new used M came without the plug to connect the charger to my car.. Am I right than any straight 12 V. cable from the cigar lighter socket to the 3.5 coax on the charger should work.. ??

I've downloaded the CL 2.0 and 4.0 firmware update. About to download the 4.1 update. Do I need to download each firmware update i.e. 2.1, 3.0, 3.1, etc. to ensure I capture all the updates or will downloading the latest update (4.1) capture ALL the updates?
