Hey so I'm super attracted to the Leica Q. Everything I've read about it seems overwhelmingly positive. I know it's relatively crap at videos and JPEGs, but I don't want it for those things. My two reservations are of course 1) it's expensive, and 2) you're stuck with the 28mm lens.

M4 was CLAd by Youxin about 2 months ago and is working like a charm. A few small pieces of vulcanite are missing, which can be seen in the photos. Otherwise, a very clean M4.

Ours will randomly restart or turnoff. Or a job file will become corrupted, causing it to not be edited or lose all descriptions of all points. Also on a more annoying note, when I am staking out and want to stake to a point, I will type 1807 and Enter. It will proceed to stakeout to point 1800, until about the third try it wont get it right.

I am still interested in this camera even after the Q2 announcement. Is this a wise move? I am primarily a fair weather photographer (no video).
If you like the Q-P's unique matte finish, no reason why not! It's still a fantastic camera. And Leica Store Miami just lowered the pricing on new Q-P's too.
Almost three years after this purchase and I am still in love with this camera.
Josh shared very informative words. They would help us choose the best option.
