I avoid any kind of wet cleaning of the M9 sensor, I find it tends to make things worse. I frequently use a Giottos Rocket Blower to blow surface dust off the sensor. Sure, Leica is listening to us, but their bigger market is Asia, and I don't see many users from Asia on this site other than Kurt. Perhaps over there, it seems, buyers purchase the S2 as a luxury good, more than just a very fine tool?

Trade in program? Please. that's wishful thinking as Leica has never needed that. Nor will they need it now. Frankly a trade in program undermines Hassy values in my mind.

The S2 uses lossless compression. There is no difference whatsoever in image quality. Test this for yourself.

I'll restrain myself from correcting the other bits of misinformation at this time, but let's just say that I would take it all with a large grain of salt.
