In the wonderful Youtube discussion of the SL system hosted by David and Josh, Josh mentioned that he uses an Eyelead Sensor Cleaning Kit on the SL2. Is it safe to use this to clean the SL2's sensor, given the IBIS capabilities of the camera. Do you have to disable IBIS first?

I hv a M5, and I can’t re-cap the battery compartment after I open it, I try to remove the battery and re-cap again, it success. It is the same battery, I don’t know why, does anyone can help? Thx a lot -

I have my first Leica coming tomorrow and I am not sure which version of the software it will be running. I didn't know if anyone here had an opinion on updating to the latest version which I believe came out 21/04/2016 or to just leave it at an older version. Any feedback would be great.

Hi, I'm still getting use to my CL. Is it possible to get shots taken in portrait to auto rotate in the preview screen. It's really annoying having to turn the camera to view these shots.

This is a huge upgrade. I hope even Q2 gets this update as well since they have same image processor and sensor. 🙂 super excited
Firmware updates are camera specific. While some improvements for the SL2 may translate to the Q2, many others would not due to hardware differences between the two cameras.
