So I thought he would get a kick out of this parking lot.
Wow that's a lot of money sitting on a very expensive lawn. Are you loving the 24?

I saw this post in another thread. It makes sense to me.
http://www.reddotforum.com/showthread.php/694-S2-and-HTS-1.5The benefit of a shift lens is you get 2 focal lengths out of 1 lens when you consider shift and stitch to get a wider view. The 1.5x factor destroys that added benefit. I suppose you have to limit the imaging circle…[Read more]

Does the TS adaptor really work on the Leica S with the Hasselblad adaptor? I think I read somewhere that it doesn't… but now insecure. Has anybody tested it? I guess adaptor on adaptor may have problems with the communications.

Hi Andyc,
I am still not giving up on the Leica S and the zoom lens idea yet. I am willing to take the time to custom “warp” extreme cases even after lens correction settings. Do you mind shooting a brick wall for a quick reference at the major focal length stops? It can be handheld, doesn't have to be super sharp, even if not perfectly square…[Read more] -

Thanks guys for your feedback. Life is filled with tough choices – convenience vs. perfection. Yes Hassy H on TS for the S is a good option indeed. The 1.5x factor is a little annoying and they are not S lenses though. Do you think at the smaller aperture the lens quality gap is less between H and S?

Leica Store wrote a new post, New: Leica S Right Angle Finder by M. Leibfritz 13 years ago
Today, we received a unique new product to test, which Dale Photo & Digital has now made available for sale: the Leica S Right Angle Finder. Prior to discovering this product, there was no reasonable way to use a right angle finder on the S or S2. Now, not only do we gain the ability to use the right angle viewer, but we can also focus more precisely as the finder features a switch that toggles between 1x and 2x magnification.
The finder is made from solid metal by M. Leibfritz in Germany. The product description on Dale Photo's site sums it up well:
A new product manufactured by M. Leibfritz in Germany, the Leica S Right Angle Finder mounts to your Leica S or Leica S2 camera to provide right-angle viewing, ideal for macro photography or low-mounted camera work. This product also features a built-in 2x magnifier; flip a switch to toggle between 1x and 2x magnification.
The finder rotates 360 degrees to make for easy viewing no matter how your camera is positioned, and the 2x magnification allows for precise focus adjustment. Additionally, the finder has a built-in focusing mechanism to account for users who need diopter adjustment.
The viewfinder is made from solid metal and has a removable rubber eyecup. It attaches to the camera via the hot shoe; please be aware that with the use of this finder, hot-shoe mounted accessories such as a flash or radio trigger cannot be used.
At the moment, this item is made to order only. If we receive enough interest, Dale Photo & Digital will begin to stock this item. The finder can be viewed for purchase on our website here: Leica S Right Angle Finder. Email me with questions or inquiries!

Is there any chance you can shoot a grid at the major focal lengths you listed below and post samples or see if you can get it to true rectlinear by the lens correction adjustment…
