That is a nice looking bag, could you perhaps show a photo of all the gear inside and how it all fits?

I am wondering how this come together. There has to be some collaboration between Leica and Hasselblad to make this happen. Would be interesting to get some intel. 😉

Still so impressed with this bag for an S2 kit… from city to trail. For a day hike I clipped the optional ThinkTank Shoulder Harness 2.0 (backpack straps) to a midsize ThinkTank Attachment Strap clipped over the top of the bag, which allows easy access to the interior. I also clipped a ThinkTank RUHot (water bottle holder) to the side via a…[Read more] -

David, now that Leica has introduced the S2 lens adapter for Hasselblad H lenses, is there any closer probability of a similar, fully integrated, adapter for Contax 645 lenses, either from Leica or the company that you have had discussions with?

I too prefer the gap between the images of the triptych. I also prefer paper prints over canvas prints however there are some advantages with gallery wrap canvas and I have recently had some made for my own walls. I did a several shot pano of the NYC skyline last fall while at PhotoPlus, was very happy with the results, and decided to get it…[Read more]

Marc,
I'm working on it. In addition to the update on S System, I'm also working on a full review of the M Monochrom, a full review of the X2 and a little something extra…. 😀

The smile on Mark's face about the back story makes me smile again.
The back story for other readers is that only Mark knew exactly where to drive to get this shot in the falling light. I was riding with him.
The last van made a wrong turn, even though they were following us, and arrived in total darkness. Mark, please remind me who the…[Read more] -

gdb replied to the topic Lens Profiles for Photoshop? in the forum S Lenses 14 years ago
Hi!
CS6 has all the S-lenses profiles (in the “Lens Correction Filter”) together with most of M-lenses profiles (Nothing for the R-lenses, unfortunately…)
I own the S-35mm-Summarit which shows magenta fringes in some situations (windows glasses in churches, for example), and the corresponding Photoshop lens profiles does not correct…[Read more]

I smile every time I see that photo due to the back story. This photo turned out great as a large triptych. Seeing a photo of your triptych on the wall is the only way to get an idea of the scale without seeing it in person.
Question, it appears the triptych consists of three gallery wrapped canvas prints. Did you cut the individual images…[Read more]

When I started this post last Oct. I showed a panorama from the last night in Vermont.
I suggested then that it would make a good ten foot wide triptych.I sold the heavily modified image as an eleven foot triptych back in January. This week, I was visiting the client showing new work, and took this photo of the triptych installed in the…[Read more]

Hello.
After my initial griping about the painful slowness of LR4, I received a beneficial link. http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/optimize-performance-lightroom.html
The two most important points I implemented are:
-Leave autowrite XMP turned off. I save the XMP data just before I do the final archive of the project. I don't know…[Read more] -

+1 FOR ISO:
On the Phase One backs with Sensor+ the ISO steps as such: 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 200+, 400+, 800+, 1600+ and 3200+. It's quite simple and easy to know when you are or are not in Sensor+ mode.
If Leica could implement the same with the reduced read speeds & channels, that would be amazing – and maybe they could add…[Read more]

PebblePlace replied to the topic Adjust EC in 1/3 increments? in the forum S2 14 years ago
Thank you for the link, that was a very helpful thread. Wish they could change the system (Aperture, Shutter & ISO) to shift in 1/3 increments. It certainly isn't the end of world, but I was surprised not to see 1/2 v 1/3 option like the M9.

PebblePlace;2327 wrote: Is there a way to set the EC adjustment to step in 1/3 increments rather than 1/2 step increments?
I think David mentioned sometime ago that it's not a priority with Leica currently. I guess to achieve the new increments they need precise calibration at each ISO level.
Edit: I found the original link here, please…[Read more]
