Seagate Go Flex might be a solution for file swapping between computers for me.

I have an 2010 iMac without thunderbolt but with firewire 800 and also a 2011 MacAir with thunderbolt and USB 2.0.

I can only imagine the effort you made to obtain these shots…but I can assure you they are worth it. To my eye these are nothing short of spectacular…as were the images I've seen posted by you elsewhere. I would love to hear what inspired you to visit Ethiopia and how you managed to cultivate a rapport with your subjects.

Wonderful shots. The third and fourth shots are fantastic … there is so much there that delivers on the depth of the human condition.

OMG. I already commented on the pictures you posted at GetDPI but you make me with every new picture completely speechless. These pictures are unbelievable good. You could be really proud about your work.

I only had an issue with a 120 lens, where the autofocus did not work at all (i.e., the autofocus did not react at all when the shutter was pressed). I only have experience the OLED problem and Leica has replaced mine for free.
While I would rate the Leica service overall very good and helpfull I have to agree that I find the quality control not allways sufficient and something Leica should work on IMO.

My traveling light bag is a tan colored Billingham Hadley Pro.

My light and fast setup is my M4-P with a Summicron 28 ASPH, Sekonic L-508 meter, a few camera doodads and six rolls of Tri-X.

Those are some serious woes. I hate to hear about your misfortune. In my opinion, your note to Leica is very reasonable considering the extent of your problems. I wish you the best in getting the problems sorted out.
