• Seagate Go Flex might be a solution for file swapping between computers for me.

I have an 2010 iMac without thunderbolt but with firewire 800 and also a 2011 MacAir with thunderbolt and USB 2.0.

My challenge was how to swap files between the two machines in the fastest manner?

Seagate is now making a thin 500Gig drive that can act…[Read more]

  • Whoa…

Well this photographer is using the tool well.
Glad you posted here as well as GetDPI.
I hope when you print them, you post a shot of how they look in exhibition.

  • This has to be the best “first post” I have ever seen in any forum. Your photos are exceptional. Each has their own feel and emotion and yet each are also technically excellent.

  • breathtaking images! hope to hear more about the stories behind.

Those cars are really good looking. I'm surprised that a company would name a car after a Hasselblad camera.

  • I am glad to see you finally made it to the Cavallino. It is an incredible event for those of us that appreciate exotic cars.

  • Wow. These are really amazing shots. Great storytelling, magical lighting and such a depth to the images.

    Can't wait to see more!

  • I can only imagine the effort you made to obtain these shots…but I can assure you they are worth it. To my eye these are nothing short of spectacular…as were the images I've seen posted by you elsewhere. I would love to hear what inspired you to visit Ethiopia and how you managed to cultivate a rapport with your subjects.

  • OMG. I already commented on the pictures you posted at GetDPI but you make me with every new picture completely speechless. These pictures are unbelievable good. You could be really proud about your work.

    Sorry to hear that.

I only had an issue with a 120 lens, where the autofocus did not work at all (i.e., the autofocus did not react at all when the shutter was pressed). My dealer contacted Leica which within a couple of days shipped a new lens to me while mine was still on the way back to the dealer. Otherwise no issues (fingers…[Read more]

I only have experience the OLED problem and Leica has replaced mine for free.
While I would rate the Leica service overall very good and helpfull I have to agree that I find the quality control not allways sufficient and something Leica should work on IMO.
Regards and I hope your issued will be solved soon since the S2 is a terricic camera…[Read more]

    Andy,

Those are some serious woes. I hate to hear about your misfortune. In my opinion, your note to Leica is very reasonable considering the extent of your problems. I wish you the best in getting the problems sorted out.

    Andy,

What a string of bad luck…my sympathies, as I can only imagine how frustrated you have been. I had the cracked sensor and replacement of the top OLED. Also had one lens arrive DOA. Leica repaired everything promptly and without charge…not even for shipping. I found Leica service to be excellent, albeit a bit slower than I would…[Read more]

I forgot to mention that these problems were not noticable at time of purchase and developed within days of use … apart from the Multigrip attachment which was only noticed after I received it through the post
