I have now lived with your new format awhile.
1. I think your features of NEws Reviews and Field Tests are handled much better than before.
If I send someone to the RedDot it appears as a better sourced of Leica info than anywhere else.

I just received confirmation from Leica today that there is a bug in the firmware update that may have caused the issue. They have indicated a fix over the next week.

Now that Photokina has wrapped up and we have had time to learn all about the amazing group of new Leica products, we wait patiently for our first deliveries. We are pleased to report that as of today, Leica Camera is shipping the new V-LUX (Typ 114), the X (Typ 113) in both black and silver, and the X-E (Typ 102). While the products might not be immediately in stock due to existing pre-orders, this is great news as it fits right in with Leica's initial product delivery estimates and bodes well for users looking to get their hands on the new cameras before the holidays. The new Summarits should start shipping in the next few weeks. The 75 and 90 will come first, followed by the 35 and 50.

I lost several images tonight. I don't recall the exact sequence of what I did, but none of those were image-delete functions. There is no CS version planned for the 100mm Summicron-S. My understanding is that the aperture is too wide to allow for the smaller CS mechanism.

Leica Ultravid 10×42 BR (not the Ultravid HD). Like new except for exterior stains and two small ‘dings' on the center wheel and brace. I have a close-up inspection video on youtube (dalethorn2). $975 USD including shipping. I have the Leica ‘passport' card for this item. Purchased at Samy's Fairfax in Nov. 2005, but used only a few days.

I'm now having the same problem. My 120 CS was working fine before the firmware update and now the autofocus doesn't work and it makes a whining noise for about 10 sec.
UGH!!!
Now I have to deal with a 6-8 week rotation to get this fixed.
