Hi Cira,
When did you last update CS5? In my version, all the Leica S profiles are there…in Lightroom 4, they have also added many M lenses… I think the profiles are ready, you might just have to download them specifically and add them. I don't believe I did this, so it might just be a matter of checking for updates and installing them that…[Read more] -

Hi Stuart,
Thanks so much for your reply. CS5 has a list of 10 or so camera makers, models and lenses. Leica is not one of them. There are excellent correction options available under the Filter>Lens Correction>Custom tab. However, it would be interesting to see what changes specific S-System profiles might offer.
Very Best,

Yes Al,
I definitely used a polarizer.
I would say that using a polarizer when the clouds are this nice is a plus. Yes, much can be done in color post production but David Farkas assured me last fall that there is not yet a “polarizer filter” in Lightroom. Perhaps LR5?However the amount of darkness of the B&W sky is easily controlled in…[Read more]

Leica Store wrote a new post 14 years, 3 months ago
In less than three weeks, I will be heading to Berlin for Leica's big May 10th event. Rumors abound about what might be announced and Leica has been extremely tight-lipped about any upcoming products. After weeks of rampant speculation, we don't have to wait too much longer for the curtain to be lifted.
I will be live tweeting from the event (Follow me on twitter @RedDotForum) and posting detailed analysis right here on Red Dot Forum. My hope is that I will get to have some hands-on time with whatever new products are shown and get quality one-on-one time with some of the product managers. If there are any questions you'd like me to ask, please post comments here on Red Dot Forum and I'll do my best to get some detailed answers.

Nice! I would love to lie on one of the rocks and taking a sun bath.

I like this one Jack…the perspective reinforces the massiveness of the rocks. Good to see you're still using your ND filters. Hoping to give mine a workout next week.

I've been shooting film since 1955. I only shoot B&W and develop my own film. I switched from wet printing to scanning and inkjet printing when I found I preferred the results. My main outfit is an M6 with a 35/2 Biogon. I also have a Nikon F6, a Hasselblad and an X-100 but they don't see a lot of use.

I believe the PC-Shift was designed for the 40mm lens which becomes around 56mm after the 1.4 factor. I have the PC adapter and 40mm lens so I will give it a try and compare with the Mamiya 50mm shift lens.

Something different is an appropriate title. How well does it work?

melantye;2090 wrote: Amazing colors! Just wow! could you share briefly how did you process these photos?
The first one is more or less straight out of cam. I guess I increased the vibrance, but thats it.
On the second one I did some cross processing.
Cheers,

Click on the filter menu, then on Lens Correction. That will open up a dialog box and a preview. On the right under auto correction, there should be a list of camera manufacturers and lens models, if it does not automatically detect it from Exif.
You might need CS5, I am not sure… -
