Nice shots. You really nailed the tractor shot. Unfortunately, I must have moved my focus or just not paid attention to focus at all as I was chopping down weeds with a Swiss Army Knife in front of our camera position.

Mine is a 2010 model with serial number 3800XXX that is now almost impossible to read in daylight (not sunlight, rather daylight!)

All S2s with the original OLED component are eligible for free replacement.

To give everyone a better idea of what to look for…this image (taken outdoors in open shade) shows 3 different S2 bodies with 3 different OLED screens. Mark, usually that happens when the photos are uploaded with a color space other than sRGB. When the browser converts it to sRGB for web viewing, it gets very dull.

Unfortunately, all S2 service is performed in Germany. The good news is that turnaround for S2 service is pretty quick.

I have been playing with this combination a bit today to see what's what. I tried every combination I could, camera on first, flash on first, camera on then attach flash while off, camera on then attach flash while on. The adapter I used is our Leica S2-Mamiya Mount lens adapter. It works will all Mamiya 645 manual focus lenses. Along with the Schneider, we like to use the Mamiya 80mm f/1.9 as well.
