I avoid any kind of wet cleaning of the M9 sensor, I find it tends to make things worse. I frequently use a Giottos Rocket Blower to blow surface dust off the sensor. Jack, I just read the article as well. I'll second what Josh said.

The S2 uses lossless compression. There is no difference whatsoever in image quality. Test this for yourself.

I'll restrain myself from correcting the other bits of misinformation at this time, but let's just say that I would take it all with a large grain of salt.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.

The 120 lens is the only S lens that isn't an internally focusing design. We use (and recommend) the rear button for AF activation and have never had an issue updating firmware. Usually, we update firmware with the 70mm attached so it has never been an issue.
