Today, Leica has announced an upcoming price increase going into effect March 13, 2026. The adjustment impacts a wide range of cameras and lenses across the M, SL, and Q systems. The increases are not uniform and vary depending on the product.
M cameras, both digital and analog, are increasing in the $500–900 range depending on model and finish. The newly launched M EV1 will see a far smaller adjustment of just $295. Q models are also seeing changes, with the color Q3 models increasing by around $600, while the recently introduced Q3 Monochrom reflects a more modest $160 increase. Most M lenses are increasing by roughly $100–500 depending on the specific model, though several remain unchanged. Within the SL system, SL3 and SL3-S bodies are unaffected. SL lens adjustments are generally modest, typically under $200, and impact roughly half of the lineup.
Like many premium manufacturers, Leica has a history of small, incremental price adjustments to keep pace with inflation, currency fluctuation, and the ever rising cost to produce hand-crafted, high-precision cameras and lenses.
The good news is that Leica is giving everyone a couple weeks notice here. If you are interested in purchasing at the current pricing, you can do so while supplies last. At Leica Store Miami, pre-increase pricing will be honored on any in-stock item up until March 13, 2026. Below is a breakdown of affected serialized products and their corresponding price increases.

It’s as its seem in past 8 years Leica corporate have no respect to people that abscessed with Leica products and willing to sacrifice of loosing their costumer going forward, prices have been climbing every year and keep blaming either tariffs or or cost of living, Leica becomes least reliable and officiant camera comparing to other brands and their prices
It’s incredible how much the price of the SL has jumped over the years. Not sure if this is accurate as I got AI to tabulate it for me. But, I’m sure the 2020 and 2026 prices are correct.
