• Hi David,

I intend to use it as much as I can on assignments when the situation allows. If there was a shift lens I could eliminate my Nikon kit altogether. πŸ™

  • Can you please post a photo of the new hood? Thank you.

I would first get your hands on a different Hasselblad HC or HCD lens. Preferably a new or newer one.

Some HC300mm occasionally can act up even on some H bodies … mine would sometimes just not AF at all, or the H camera would read no lens attached. I would reattach the lens and it would work, then later wouldn't. I found that it was just…[Read more]

    David,

I am from Manila Philippines. And we do not have any Leica product representation. Most enthusiasts go to Hongkong or Singapore.

    Can you help?

    Hi Pebbleplace
Sadly no.. I recently sold my Hasselblad Kit including 5 HC Lenses but no 100/2.2
I have bought all the non CS Lenses and kept the 300 HC as there is nothing as yet from Leica..
Don't forget that Leica are duty bound to honour their pledge to allow you a equivalent CS upgrade with just the difference in price to pay when you…[Read more]

Do you have any other HC lenses, such as maybe the 100/2.2? I suspect the 100/2.2 is the lens most people are interested in – at least me πŸ™‚

    Hi Josh
yes I had already updated the firmware beforehand…
I think it is possibly a rogue Adaptor as it occurs on both my S2 Bodies with or without the Multi Battery Grips attached..
I had also noticed a hitch when setting the top OLED to brightest with the Grip attached whereby it defaults back to ‘medium' when the S2 is switched off and…[Read more]

    Andyc:

Well first off I am jealous that you have received an adapter before any of us here in the US! My first question would be, have you updated your Leica S2 body to the latest firmware? This new firmware, version 1.0.3.3 is designed to allow the S2 to work properly with the new adapter. You can find a link to that…[Read more]

Sorry for being late to answer your question. Yes, you can leave the 1.25Γ— magnifier on the eyepiece when using a 35 mm lensβ€”but it's not recommended. The 35 mm framelines with the magnifier attached will be as hard to see as the 28 mm framelines without. So it's doable but not comfortably so. For extended periods of using the 35 mm lens, yo…[Read more]

  • The flower shot for me too Mark…well done.

  • Thank you Al. the orange color out of camera was over saturated kinda like bright reds do sometimes. I had to reduce the orange saturation by about -14 and yellow saturation by about -3 to get the color correct. It looks a little flat in sRGB color space for the web, but it is close.

  • Welcome to the forum Stephan. I am happy to see your post here. Thank you.
