Today, Leica Camera has issued a new software update for the Leica FOTOS smartphone app on iOS and Android. The version 1.3 update brings with it new functionality and changes:
- Location logging for Leica Bluetooth-enabled cameras in the remote function
- Easy access to metadata including location info
- Landscape mode for the remote control function
- Volume button as camera shutter button when using remote control
- Support for the all new Leica V-Lux 5
- Bug fixes and stability improvements
The 1.3 update is currently live and ready for download/install from the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play Store on Android. If you already have the Leica FOTOS app installed, check under Updates to upgrade to the latest version.
